Ready-to-hang framed photo of RAAF B-707 (A20-629) tanker air refuelling an F-18 Hornet fighter (A21-13). Frame measures 51cm long & 41cm wide.

A20-629: First Flight 12/08/68. One of the last 707's to fly with the RAAF. First owned by Qantas, then purchased by the RAAF and converted for air refueling. Deployed to Kyrgyzstan in 2002 to support Coalition Forces in Afghanistan. The final task for City of Sydney saw it fly from RAAF Base Richmond to RAAF Base East Sale and Hobart for a series of ‘touch-and-go’ landings, aiding training for 33 Squadron crews. will be kept at RAAF Base Richmond and used to support the continued operation of ‘Richmond Town’. A decision will be made by Defence on the final disposal of its B707 fleet and associated equipment during 2008. Retired at RAAF Richmond on 1 Nov 2007.

A21-13: Ordered 11/1981. Built as a Block 17, A model Hornet. Delivered 03/07/87. In Service 3 Sqn 9/11/1989. In Service 3 Sqn 27/06/2006. Returning from Darwin to Williamtown with 3Sqn on Friday 27/06/08, wearing 3 Sqn markings (90th Anniversary markings). 

Picture will be mailed securely with lots of cardboards & bubble wraps so the glass will not break in transit. Personal pick up is OK from Kardinya (near corner of South St & North Lake Rd), Perth.
