Just an update, we added your thermal barrier product over the winter to our home in Utah, and it worked well keeping the heat inside the house during the winter. I was delighted.

hi ed.just found your brochure on the package, and your handwritten notes about installing it in my attic, which I am not doing at this time. what I am look for is a spec sheet like the one I'm attaching. Yes, your prices are competitive. I have a 1500 sf roll of doublesided that I bought on Ebay for 13 cents / sf. I'll send you a sample to see what you think.  I met a guy in HomeDepot today and he will be calling you to buy some ThermaKool, he was pricing r19 bat insul and I told him the research I did and he kind of remembered your product. I think he lives in Largo, our County (Pinellas) has 27 municipalities all about 5 minutes apart.

I bout an electric T50 stapler today for $29.00. I am looking forward to getting this installed. I will do the roof trusses and the top of the insulation since you saved me $1090.00  for the R30 I was going to put in. I suspect I will probably need about another 6,000 but I'll let you know.

Hello,
         My room remodeling project is in the finishing stage and used 2 layers of the RB in my project room. This approach shows less infrared penetration, when testing you can just barely make out the test reference infrared lamp set to penetrate an R18 insulated wall and I used R13 Kraft faced insulation! The testing tables don't apply to this RB approach, even set the lamp at max setting to penetrate R25 insulation 8-1/4 inches and only then did the lamp show like it should on the table (not nearly as profound still) for a normal wall with R13/15 insulation.

        Test over time heat absorption in U-factor settled over a factor of 0.028 or R-35, held .03 for 1 hour at 120 degrees facing the interior wall. In conclusion the RB increased the base R value by over 20 and dropped the air leakage by 200%. This room no longer needs a space heater. When I was working in there the temp would go up 10 or more degrees from me simply being in the room that is something I never experienced before,thx, J.

Thanks for your rapid response to my e-mail. I read your e book & found it to be a great deal of info. & it will come in handy during the installation process. I do have a question which was not addressed & I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice. We are remodeling my mothers house in a few months and I am interested in using your product. How effective is it to install right over existing insulation (top of ceiling joists, inside stud faces ) ? Also I was wondering if it would be effective as an exterior house wrap?  I have read that if RB is in contact with another surface it will conduct the heat rather than reflect it.

I realize you are a probably a busy guy but any info. you could give me will be GREATLY appreciated as I share your concern with energy consumption.

RB is made to be very thin , but strong, a 1/4" OF ANY PRODUCT will only detract from any foil working properly, thickness only defeats the re-radiation of a true RB. thickness is the problem of the insulation, that you have in your home right now, dont confuse it w/ the way a RB should work.
