This is a very special RAF BREVET QM AIR QUARTERMASTER HALFWING SHOULDER BADGE PATCH, Brevet Size: 3.5" (W) X 1.5" (H). New item, not from the '50s.

The increasing importance of transport led to the creation of this aircrew category in 1950.  RAF QM (Air Quartermaster) was responsible for the safe loading and unloading of such aircraft and the supervision of aerial dropping.
