This rare amber 9 1/4" tall bitters has been lightly cleaned to mint condition. It is boldly embossed vertically - SARRACENIA - LIFE BITTERS - TUCKER - MOBILE ALa - MOTIF 3 LEGS JOINED IN THE CENTER - ENCLOSED IN A CIRCLE - Has an early applied ringed collered top and half circed hinged mold bottom. Dates to 1871. Joseph Tucker was listed as a Doctor and manufacturer of Sarracenia Life Bitters in the Mobile Daily register in 1871. This bitters is listed in the Bitters Book S-35 RARE - No reserve and buyer pays $7.75 shipping, insur is extra.
