RARE 1893 $10 LIBERTY GOLD EAGLE PCGS GRADE CHOICE MS64

Minted from 1795 to 1907, these classic U.S. gold eagles are one of the very best gold portfolio builders on the market. This particular $10 Liberty Gold Eagle is a gorgeous example of the 1893 Philadelphia mintage. Not only  is this a golden rarity with super low population but it is also an incredible opportunity with tremendous upside potential.

This near-Gem specimen exhibits vibrant luster and minimally marked fields. This choice example is crisply struck with slight fiery-orange toning that accents the straw-yellow golden undertone. The obverse is very well preserved and bears evidence of a solid strike. The reverse has a cartwheel shine and reflective  minimally marked fields. Overall this is a beautiful Liberty Head coin.

After more then a hundred years, the majority of the original 1893 mintage has been lost to circulation or melted down in the 1930's.

Today, only a tiny fraction of the original mintage have received a grade of MS64 or higher.

In fact, PCGS has certified only 185 of these 1893 $10 Liberties in MS64 designation

ONLY 2 have ever been graded higher both in the MS65 designation.
