This fight took place right after Jim Corbett lost his title to Jim Jeffries in Coney Island NY, Corbett was knocked out in the 23 rnd by Jeffries May 11, 1900.  Jim Corbett's next  was against Kid McCoy Aug 30, 1900, Corbett wins this bout with a KO in the 9th.
