Description:

 From 1902, in four big volumes, this is The Life of Abraham Lincoln, Drawn from original sources and containing many speeches, letters and telegrams hitherto unpublished. And with many reproductions from original paintings, photographs, etc. By Ida M. Tarbell, the pioneering woman journalist. Published by the Lincoln History Society, New York, 1902. Each book is sized 9 and a half by 6 and a half inches, almost 500 pages per volume. Profusely illustrated.

Bound in orange/red cloth with gilt titles. A little flecking to the cloth. Not common in this form. Some copies are dated 1900. A classic biography with many rare prints.
