ITEM DESCRIPTION AND PICTURESAll items are sold AS IS. Most of my listings are for vintage collectable items, occasionally I get a true antique to offer. These items have been used to varying degrees and will have signs of this use. I try very hard to accurately describe the item. Please ask questions and review all pictures before bidding. Some of my pictures have glare spots on them and sometimes the true color of an item does not come through in the pictures. Pictures of book pages usually have a yellow tinge to them. If you need additional pictures please request them. Questions and pictures requests made on the last day of the auction may not get answered/sent before the auction ends.

This auction is for a 1929 University of Georgia Football Ticket.
A fabulous find at an estate sale in Americus, GA. I acquired several pieces of ephemera from the University of Georgia during the very early 1900’s. This piece is a Georgia Bulldogs Football Ticket. It was for the YALE verus GEORGIA game on October 12, 1929. This is a special ticket for the Dedication of the Sanford Stadium Field. The colors and design make this a very pretty ticket.
The ticket is beautiful. It is gold with red and black writing and images on it. There is a red banner at the center top with an Uga head on either side of it. There are two different buildings on either side at the bottom of the ticket. At the bottom of the ticket is a SCORE space that is filled in with pencil. The score was Yale 0, Georgia 15.
The back of the ticket has a diagram of the new Sanford Stadium in the center of it and on the right side is a brief tidbit about Georgia’s Kinship with Yale.
This ticket is in very good condition. It is 5.75 inches by 2.75 inches in size. The left side edge of the ticket is rough like it was torn out of a ticket book. The edges and corners of the ticket have very little wear to them. There is a crease on the right side of the ticket just above the ROW 20. There are several light stain spots on front of the ticket; 1 located at AISLE 8, 1 at NORTH SIDE, 1 on the left side just above the banner and 2 just below the banner. The score section of the ticket has been filled in with pencil.
There are several faint smudge spots on the back of the ticket.
Shipping for this item is U.S:1st Class or Priority with delivery confirmation.

If the item end of auction value is $250.00 or greater then Signature Confirmation must be added so you will have to sign for your package. No, Signature Confirmation and Delivery Confirmation are not the same. One is signature of the person who received the package and the other tracks and confirms that the package was delivered but does not require it be signed for.
IMPORTANT DETAILSI know this is a lot to read but I want you to know about payment, shipping, handling, refunds, etc. I thank you for taking the time to read it.
PAYMENT INFORMATION**Payment deposited into a PayPal account is not payment that has been received by me, it is payment that has been received by PayPal**. When PayPal notifies me of a payment I will request transfer to me which will take 3-4 days. When the funds have been deposited and I have “officially” received your payment I will mail your item.
When the transfer to me is complete I will notify the buyer and will ship the item the next day provided the USPS is open, so if everything goes smoothly the item will be mailed on fifth day after a PayPal payment has been made provided the USPS is open and PayPal/eBay has promptly notified me of funds received.
If for some strange reason PayPal decides to hold the payment I will not be able to access the payment and therefore will not be able to ship the item.If that happens the buyer and I will have to confer and decide upon a course of action between the two of us.
I apologize that eBay has seen fit to take away the seller/buyer’s right to decide for themselves what type of payment they would accept/send. Ebay, they own PayPal, finally came up with a way to charge another fee for a listing.
INTERNATIONAL SALESI will ship to all countries covered by PayPal’s Seller Protection Plan. Seeing as PayPal requires the most expensive method of international shipping, International Express or International Priority, I would not blame any international buyer if they passed on bidding in my auctions.
International Shipping: I am not responsible for Customs Fees charged by your country or for delays in shipping caused by Customs. The buyer needs to check with their countries Customs Department to find out if Customs Fees will be charged for the item they are interested in. Nor am I responsible if a buyer bids on and wins an item that cannot be shipped to their country due to Customs/Postal regulations. If this happens the Buyer and I will have to mutually agree to not complete the auction.
International buyers agree to accept a copy of the postal receipt showing shipping date and customs number as proof that the item(s) were shipped to and received by the buyer.
POSTAL SYSTEM DAMAGECompensation (Compensation is the final auction value of the item) due to postal system damage: You, the buyer, are an important and required part of the insurance claim process.
If your package arrives damaged then you must take the package to the post office BEFORE you open it so the damage to the package can be documented. They may tell you not to open the package. Opening a damaged package before bringing it to the attention of your local Postal Officials can negate an insurance claim and compensation of the item.
An insurance claim must be started with the post office. You MUST keep the original box and packaging and the item. These items are required by the post office. You must contact me because the Postal System requires that the shipper starts the claim but you, the buyer, must bring in the original shipping box, packing materials and the item. If you can not provide these items the post office will not accept the insurance claim and I will not be able to issue you, the buyer, any compensation for the item. This is a lengthy process. You will get your compensation when the Postal System pays the insurance claim. This will take a minimum of six weeks but can take longer.
REFUND POLICYRefunds are only for items that are Significantly Not As Described. An item that arrives in a damaged package is classified as Postal System Damage and is covered under POSTAL SYSTEM DAMAGE and not as Significantly Not As Described.
No refunds will be issued for U.S./International non-delivery claims. Delivery Confirmation will be used on U.S. shipping and the buyer agrees to accept postal records of Delivery Confirmation as proof the item(s) were received. International buyers agree to accept the Customs Number issued by the Postal System as proof the item was shipped and received.
Notification of intention to return item for Significantly Not As Described must be no later than 2 days after delivery confirmation indicates the package has been delivered. and I must have the item back within 20 days of the end of auction date. If item is returned for Significantly Not As Described then Pictures and Item Description will be sent to eBay and PayPal. I will refund the final auction valve + the original shipping charge, upon receipt of item returned in original condition as it was sent to you, I, the seller, will determine if the item is in the same condition as I sent it to you, the buyer. Yes, this means you must pay the return postage if you return this item(s)
If the item(s) are deemed to NOT be in the same condition as it was in when shipped or the item is not received back within 20 days then a refund will not be issued.
SHIPPINGPlease use the shipping calculator. The shipping calculator figures the shipping charge for your zip code. I put in the weight of the packaged item and the size of the package, the charge is based on this.
When there is more than one method of shipping listed, the winning bidder needs to indicate their choice of shipping that conforms with PayPal requirements when the payment is sent.
If you win multiple auctions EACH auction has to be shipped in its own box because eBay/Paypal requires delivery confirmation for each auction so there will be a shipping charge for each auction. I apologize that eBay/Paypal has made it this way.
HANDLING CHARGEThere is a $2.75 handling charge included in the postage for U.S. shipping.
International handling charge is $3.20.
MUTIPLE AUCTION WINSIf you win multiple auctions EACH item(s) gets it own box for delivery confirmation purposes to meet eBay/Paypal requirements, so there is a handling fee for each auction.

Please base the number of stars on the time it takes me to get your item in the mail after payment is received. I will e-mail you when I ship the package and give you the confirmation number so you can check to see that I have shipped the package.
Please be aware that the delivery times that eBay displays beside the shipping methods are not always correct. Delivery time is totally dependent on the postal system and varies by the volume of mail per day that they handle. If your package goes by plane to your zip code zone the airline carriers can put aside postal items in favor of other items. This is per the contract that USPS has with the airlines. The time of year also affects delivery time.
Zip Codes are listed in Zones. The farther away from me you are the longer it takes for your package to get to you.
First Class: Estimated delivery time is 2-7 days in the United States.
Parcel Post: Typically 2-9 days in the 48 contiguous United States for Most Destinations. Estimated time to Alaska or Hawaii is 3 to 6 weeks.
Priority mail: Typically is estimated at 2-7 days to most locations.
Media mail: Estimated delivery time is between 4-14 days or longer.
The USPS does not consider your package lost until 30 days after the date they accepted the package.
