RARE 1962 TRANCEL TOSHIBA 7TM-312S TRANSISTOR RADIO

This Trancel 7TM-312S is one of the more unique and rarer of the sets made by Toshiba in the early '60s. It is a 2-band set (SW and AM), with an interesting curvature to the cabinet and a reverse painted dial face. This example is in good overall cosmetic condition, without any chips or cracks. There is some discoloration behind the dial face, but otherwise presents beautifully.There are some slight kinks in the top part of the antenna. The radio recieves lots of stations with strong volume, but unfortunately the bandswitch button appears stuck and only one band is available.
