Welcome to the 2008 College Football Season and with it the "Best Time of the Year"!! Now for all of the USC fans your hungry for yet another Championship this week I have a very Rare piece of USC Championship memorabilia, I offer you this Very Rare 200% Real Authentic 1972 USC National Championship Salesman Sample 10K Ring. As many of you may know the 1972 USC Football team was coached by John McKay and this team finished the season at a perfect12-0 by beating Ohio State 42-17 in the 1973 Rose Bowl Game. This Historical Team has been voted by many sports casters as one of if not the Best College Football Team of All-Time. This was certainly John McKay's Best USC Team. USC was the Consensus National Champions in All of the Polls. They didn't have to share it with anyone in 1972. This was USC’s Last Unanimous Consensus National Championship Title in Football until the 2004 BCS Championship Game win over Oklahoma. The other titles since then they had to share a part of the title including the ones in 1978 and 2003.

The top of this ring has National Champions on the outer edge and in the center is a red stone with USC in gold. On one side of this ring is TROJANS and 1972 and the nice picture of a Trojan. The other side has McKay at the top and under it is a football helmet with HEAD COACH on it and at the bottom is Rose Bowl. This ring is aprox a size 11. This ring weighs in at 26.4 grams of 10K Gold. Inside the ring has the "Proper Manufacture Markings" this being © Jostens 10K. Also inscribed inside the ring are the serial numbers of B3968. This Ring is near MINT condition. Take a look at the pics as they will speak for itself. This again is a 200% Authentic REAL salesman sample of the exact same ring that Coach McKay would have received for winning this National Championship. Do Not confuse this ring with a "replica" ring or a knock off ring. This Ring is a Real Sample Ring made by the Same people who made McKays actual ring and from the Same die mold as McKays actual Ring that's what makes this a "Real Salesman Sample" Too many people call a replica ring a sample when in fact they are not, they are knock offs. The only difference is that this ring was not given to McKay and it has a set of serial numbers inside of it otherwise this ring would be Identical to McKays actual ring . Since this ring is made of 10K gold it can be resized by any good jeweler.
