Very rare 23J Elgin Hi Grade 190 model number 2 in solid 14K keystone hunting case.  The grade 190 12 size has gold jewel settings and is adjusted to 5 positons.  NI movement with DMK and gold train.  Serial number of 7412676 dates the watch to 1897.  Quick train and pendant set.  Perfect dial with no cracks, chips or hairlines.  Solid gold hands.  The watch runs properly, sets properly, winds properly and keeps accurate time.  The watch was a presentation watch and is so inscribed on the inside of the front cover "TO ELIZABETH WITH LOVE ROY".  The inscription is lightly engraved.  The casefront is monogramed with initials. The 14k solid gold Keystone case has a beautiful starburst pattern and is stunning.  The case is near perfect but does have a small dent near the 7 on the trailing edge of the caseback.  The lids are tight and open and shut properly except the case front is no longer spring assisted.  The crown shows considerable wear but is still beautiful and the bow is perfect.  The crystal is perfect except for the usual superficial swirlies.  The movement is stunning with no indication of shoddy work.  Just a rare watch and is featured on page 190 of the 2007 edition of the "complete price guide to watches".  The watch belongs in a nice collection.  The watch starts at $500 with no reserve and a buy it now price of $1000.  Buyer pays with paypal.  Buyer pays $15 for ship and ins within the US.  International buyer pays $25 for shipping with a tracking number.  Harvey Harden, Member NAWCC.  Numerous ebay, timezone and watchnet references.  Check my feedback and bid with confidence.
