This scarce book titled Art and Pharmacy I was published in 1965 (long out-of-print) by Ysel Press (Holland) exclusively for the Brockway Glass Company, Inc. USA, with an introduction by Dr. D. A. Wittop Koning. There are 96 pages total illustrated with 42 full page color plates which originally appeared in Dutch pharmaceutical calendars.

These stunning color plates represent some of the most historically important works of art related to pharmacy from its earliest times. Most of the pieces pictured are preserved in various museums throughout the world. This book is the only avenue for those with an interest in pharmacy history to view them, other than physically visiting the museums. This series is a must have for any serious pharmacy collector as it shows many of the items collected in situ.
In original red cloth with gilt labeling on front board and spine. This copy is in FINE CONDITION. We've not seen a nicer copy of this fabulous book.
