96" Authentic Peruvian Leather Rope Peru Artifact 7




This auction is for a Peruvian Neolithic Leather Rope. It was originally created by a Northern Peru tribe that settled in the south. Before Incas, there was the Wari or Huari Empires which lasted for about 400 years from 700 A.D. - 1000 A.D. This rope was created around the time they were conquered by the Incas. The estimated age is at least over 1,000 years old.  

This piece measures approximately 96.0 inches long x 0.25 inches wide and weighs 3.4 ounces. The length is approximate because as you can see by the pictures, it is rolled up and I did not want to take a chance damaging it. This is a wonderful piece to add to any collection or to start a collection.
