YOU ARE BIDDING ON A FABULOUS RARE ANTIQUE WESTERN ELECTRIC OAK INTERCOM. THE PHONE MEASURES 10 3/4" HIGH, 6" WIDE AND 3 3/4" DEEP. AS CAN BE SEEN IN PHOTO'S THIS IS NOT YOUR ORDINARY INTERCOM. THIS PHONE IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND DISPLAYS BEAUTIFULLY. THE ONLY REPLACEMENT PIECE THAT I KNOW OF IS THE END PIECE TO THE EAR PIECE. THIS INTERCOM HAS 12 CONTACT BUTTONS ON THE FRONT. IT IS MARKED WITH SEVERAL DATES. THEY ARE AS FOLLOWS. "PAT. IN U.S.A. NOV. 17-91 NOV 1-92 JULY 31-06 PATENT APPLIED FOR" INSIDE TAG MARKED PATENTED IN U.S.A. OCT. 31, 1893. THIS PHONE WAS PURCHASED IN VIRGINIA ABOUT 22 YEARS AGO. I WAS TOLD IT CAME FROM A SOUTHERN PLANTATION HOME.
