ITEM: ALL ITEMS ON OUR EBAY AUCTION SITE SELL NO RESERVE !!

 This is a beautiful American Art deco in aesthetic 1920'S - early 1930's in era original machine age antique figural nude boudoir lamp. It is unsigned but we are attributing it to Frankart, it is in the Frankart jap green color with original paint and surface, the nude figure is outstanding and she stands 11 1/2" tall. The glass controlled bubble ball shade is green and original to the base, these balls which appeared in other Frankart designs have been attributed to the Pairpoint Lamp Company.The base on this is outstanding and this old original lamp is surely of the quality of Frankart not the countless other cheap imitators that copied the Frankart manner in a less expensive and often times poorly executed design aesthetic. A beautiful well realized and executed and very rare old lamp. Measures 11 1/2" high, base is 9 3/4" across and 4 3/4" deep, the socket is porcelain and original to the fitting, as is the on-off switch. The paint and surface is original in the Frankart greenie color and the electrical cord has been replaced and is safe for use.  A great antique original old lamp with beautiful coloring and decorative appeal and an inventive form.

CONDITION: VERY GOOD BUT NOT BETTER HAS UNIFORM PAINT WEAR AND LOSSES THE MOST PRONOUNCED IS A SCRAPE ON THE FRONT LIGHT BOX PORTION OF THE BASE.  THE FIGURE HAS SOME LIGHT PAINT LOSS ON HER LEG AND NOSE.  OVERALL THIS DISPLAYS VERY WELL NO SURPRISES IT IS A BEAUTIFUL AND EXCEEDINGLY SCARCE OLD FORM AND GREAT OLD LAMP IT APPEARS TO BE UNSIGNED NOT UNCOMMON FOR THE FRANKART LAMPS OF THIS ERA. SHOULD MAKE FOR AN INTERESTING EBAY AUCTION LOT ~~ GOOD LUCK TO ALL AND TO ALL GOOD LUCK !

 Q: Hi: Does ball have a flat bottom to it or is it completely round? Does the figure unscrew from the base? If it does, would you unscrew it for shipping? thanx sam
A: the ball is slightly flat on the bottom where it meets the insert and yes we could unscrew the figural element and pack that separate from the base cheers and good luck !
