Picture # 9 - Picture of hub nut and bolt. We have mounted this on a piece of oak so that it could be mounted on a wall. When the wheel is mounted it will spin freely in both directions.
Picture # 10 - Close up of hub without the nut and bolt. The backside of the hub is identical to the front.
Picture # 11 - Full view of back of wheel. Back side of wheel is identical to the front, without the inlayed plaque.
Picture # 12 - Close up of a small section of wood missing off the back side of the wheel. When looking directly at back side, the piece missing is near the bottom left side spoke. This looks like it happened going around Cape Horn "The Terrible" in a hurricanne while chasing whales or it just got shot out by a pirate attempting to board the vessel to rape and pillage the crew. No one can be sure. I have driven down A1A with it in the front seat of my van and you can actually hear the ocean. No telling what it could do for you. The wood on the wheel is older than me leg and in much better condition. It also smells a little like grog but that might be me beard.
Wishing you a bitter end. Not like the wenches I have collected over time, this is a keeper.
