It was real stories that the ancestor tell us that there is a Mon's Millionaire named "Intra", He is the father of Queen Jamadevi, She was born in Nong doo village, Pa sang city, Lumphun Province, Siam Nation. on Thursday nearly dusk, in the year of Naga (King of Snake), Buddhist Era 1176 (A.D. 633)
When she was 3 years old, there is some rumored that There is Very Big Bird flying to the house to find some food, but his Bird was swoop down the Princess and get away to the north, but this bird seems to weaken by the weight of Princess, then the Big Bird drops the princess in to the big pond and fly away, but the luck of Princess, She was dropped on the big Lotus Leaf, That's the miracle.
And So Lersri Suthep is walking on that way, and met the princess lies on the Lotus leafs in the middle of the Big pond. Then he grabs his fan (Wee) and vowing that if this princess is having a virtue enough then the fan should let that princess to the coast. And yes, It was a miracle that the Lotus leaf floting to the coast. but the Lersri cannot touching the girl body, then he using a fan to carrying her to the hermitage.
Then The Lersri named this Princess as "Wee" (The meaning is Fan that was blow the princess to the coast and carrying the princess) and Queen Jamadevi is the pupils of Lersri Wa Suthep until 13 years old and that the stories of The prestige, The Ruler and The Knowledge of Queen Jamadevi was began.
Queen Jamadevi is the First ruler of the Mon kingdom of Hariphunchai (Pali: Haripunjaya). She gave birth to twins, one of whom succeeded her as ruler of Lamphun(i.e. Haripunchai), while the other became ruler of Lampang.
In Lamphun a statue of her is placed in the Nong Dok public park to commemorate her.
