ITEM: Up for auction is a Very Fine c1920 Art Deco 14k Gold, Diamond, and Black Onyx Cocktail Ring. The Ring is part of a Large Collection of Fine Estate Jewellery up for auction as you can see in the last picture.
The Ring is of Very Fine Quality throughout, and has a Great Deco period design. The Ring also has a nice Filigree Gold design around the outside. The Ring is 14k White Gold on the Top, and then the base of the band is 14k Yellow Gold. I thought maybe the band was replaced, but after looking closely I believe this is the was the Ring was constructed. The 14k Gold hallmark, and serial number go threw both the White and Yellow Gold colors, and the Bands Floral decorations are consistent from the White into the Yellow Gold. The Ring has a Fine Bright Cut Center Diamond which has a Quality Sparkle to it. The Diamond has been tested an is an Authentic Diamond. The Ring is in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, dints, or repairs. The Ring has an inside measurement of 16mms, indicating it is around a size 5. The Black Onyx plaque measures 20mms long, by 10mms wide, and the Diamond measures approx. 3mms wide. The Ring is hallmarked 14k Gold, and is serial numbered A53133.
You do not see to many examples as nice come up for auction.
As usual we always start all our items nice and low, and have Never had a Reserve on one item..Ever! Just like a Real auction should be! The Very Fine c1920 Art Deco 14k Gold, Diamond, and Black Onyx Cocktail Ring would make a great addition to any collection, and would also make a Very Nice Gift.
