Fulper Pottery Company was incorporated in 1899 in Flemington, New Jersey. They made art pottery from 1909 to 1929. The firm had been making bottles, jugs, and housewares from 1805. Doll heads were made about 1928. The firm became Stangl Pottery in 1929.

This auction is for a pair of beautiful art pottery candle holders from FULPER POTTERY of Flemington, New Jersey, sometime between 1922 and 1928 -- as evidenced by the vertical oval ink Fulper mark. They are multi-colored floral design.in a lovely scalloped gentle oval shape. Fulper was a major producer of pottery from its founding in 1807 until it was purchased by Stangl in the 1930's. From 1909 until the late 20's, Fulper was one of the most important of the producers of Arts and Crafts pottery
They are in excellent condition. These are a charming set and will be a great addition to your collection - or would make a great gift. All markings on bottom.
