Gaia
Stone is also called Blue Green obsidian, Andara stone and some other names. It
is associated with the heart chakra, but can also be used to balance all the
chakras. Gaia Stone assists in the self-healing of emotional wounds
and traumas. It is associated with the Goddess energy and is used to attract
earth and nature spirits. It is also thought to assist in bringing great
prosperity into ones life. It is said to carry the Earth's energy, and is
sometimes referred to as the "Soul of the Earth."
Let me be
clear to avoid any confusion. This is a created stone. I am not a geologist and
I have to go on what they tell me. I pick by energy only.
According to geologists I’ve talked to there is no ‘natural’ gaia stone
or any other colored obsidians. Volcanic ash and other soils are gathered and
then it is all superheated. Gaia stone is a type of slag. The most famous gaia
stones came from ash and soil collected after the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. The colors in all colored
obsidians (except for brown or black) come from the metals in the material.
There is always a variety of metal that is in the volcanic ash, and other soils
that they process the gaia stone from. Because of the metals, it holds energy
extremely well. Gaia stone is extremely collectible, as are other colored
slags and they have been for thousands of years. This is a very controversial
subject, but as I said, I am not an expert and can only pass on what I’ve been
told by experts.

People have asked me about how I clear my stones. I use a variety of methods, depending on the stone type. Some I clear in salt water, others with sunlight or moonlight. Some I have used sage and/or cedar on. After they are cleared, I put each of them near Synergy, rotating them around, until they are ready to go out into the world.' Every one of the stones that I list - in any shape - has been with Synergy and is fully charged with the energy - after all... that's the whole point of me doing this!

Here is one way for you to work with your crystal skull:
Hold your skull firmly in either both hands, or in just the right hand, keeping the thought of what you wish to work with in mind. The crystal receives the energies via the physical body of the person holding it, absorbs the vibrations, then amplifies them and re-broadcasts them outwards. These amplifications are received by the chakra (or receptors) in the left hand and relayed up the arm, to the brain, to a gland called the hypothalamus and or the limbic system, impressing the vibrations on the sub-conscious mind. The energy continues on, moving down to the right hand, holding the crystal. The process continues in a loop, reinforcing itself. The skull shape is thought to be especially effective in this process, as the inside back of the skull acts as a kind of satellite dish, to broadcast the vibrations of the person using it.
