RARE ANTIQUE POCKET WATCH

This antique pocket watch is in working order and keeping time. The dial is not marked. The dial and crystal both looks great. This watch is a lever set type. There is a lever that is on the side of the watch that pulls out to set the time. The back of the case is a screw type. It is marked on the inside KEYSTONE WATCH CASE J.BOSS 10K GOLDFILLED 9722220. The case is also marked under the crystal 9722220. The case shows gold plating wear on the side edges. The watch also shows wear on the back cover. The watch movement is marked C.P. Barnes & Bro. LOUISVILLE KY. 166996. I believe this size 18 watch movement was made by Hampden and it is a Series II. According to the serial number this antique watch was made in 1880.
