Presented in one of the most beautiful colour ways available for this design, is the rare first issue of Carnaval de Venise,  by Hermes artist Hubert de Watrigant. 

From notes, there were some issues over the design title which was released later as, as Fetes Venitiennes. 

Not only is this a beautiful scarf to wear, the title change and silk jacquard weave make this a great investment for any collection!

A note on silk jacquard

Jacquard is the most expensive silk money can buy, and sadly too cost prohibitive for Hermès to produce. The last of the jacquards appeared in the 90s and as time passes, we see fewer on these on the  market - a real shame for those of us who love this luxurious weave.

We provide attractive and secure packaging, gift-wrapping most items at no additional charge. Everything we use to wrap and pack is brand new, clean and fresh, with the exception of bubble which we try and recycle. We do so to help a planet that is suffering and hope you will do the same.

We want you to receive your goods without delay and will do everything humanly possible to ensure you do. All items are shipped within 48 hours of payment, most within 24. If delivery is required by a specific date, consider upgrading to FEDEX or UPS courier. If you are unsure as to shipping times, simply send an email.

Keep in mind when selecting shipping options that only business days are counted, not holidays, weekends, or the first day processing your order. There is no shipping service in Canada on Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays.

Most items are sent with delivery confirmation and you will be notified within 24 of shipment as to your tracking number and a website for tracing your package.

Please understand we do not set the postal rates nor can we send most items regular mail. To protect both buyer and seller, eBay and Pay Pal require that most items be shipped with tracking and signature. Therefore we cannot and will not, ship to PO or APO Boxes. All taxes, duties or brokerage fees charged are the buyer’s full responsibility.
