 I found this at an estate this weekend and thought ..Wow this is gorgeous! This lampshade is handsewn with a linen fabric and highly detailed silk embroidery. The base has a scalloped edge that follows the line of the floral pattern. The undershirt of the shade is a sheer netting with a satin ribbon edging the top of the shade and the base of the shade. The bottom diameter is approx 20 inches while the top is 10 inches. It is 12 inches tall. There are about three area's on the shade where the weight of the thread has pulled the fabric. I have shown one in the photo. It would be an easy repair or just left as it is. The fabric is very clean and in excellent condition other than the fabric fray. This is a one of a kind shade ...
