YOU ARE BIDDING ON A PYRO, TWO COLOR QUART MILK BOTTLE FROM RIGGIN'S INC., MUNCIE, INDIANA (IND.) THIS BOTTLE IS SPECIAL BECAUSE THE ZINNIA WAS THE STATE FLOWER OF INDIANA WHILE THE BOTTLE WAS IN USE. THE BOTTLE LOOKS GOOD WITH THE PELLETS BUT IT DOES HAVE SLIGHT HAZE AROUND THE NECK AND THE GLASS SEEMS TO HAVE ABOVE AVERAGE CASE WEAR. THE PAINT DIDN'T SUFFER, EXCEPT FOR A BROWN LOOKING SCUFF LINE (PHOTO 4). IT IS STILL AS VERY NICE BOTTLE. IT IS A ONE OF A KIND. COPIED FROM IN.GOV: NOTICE THE BOTTLE STATES ADOPTED ON MARCH 15, 1913. The peony (Paeonia) was adopted as the state flower by the 1957 General Assembly (Indiana Code 1-2-7). From 1931 to 1957 the zinnia was the state flower. PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. BOTTLE SHOWS WELL! THANKS. Check out my other items! |
