RARE Monogram Miami Vice SCARAB OFFSHORE POWER BOAT

You are bidding on a display model.  Text on the outside of the box reads:

     "Those two adventurous undercover cops, Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs, take to the water in this sleek, 38-foot, high-speed power boat.  Idling slowly along the intracoastal or charging through heavy seas at breathtaking speeds, they navigate in the pursuit of justice in the hit TV series Miami Vice.  This realistic model is 13-3/8" long (34 cm) and is molded in white with transparent-gray and plated parts.  Super detail includes the luxurious cockpit, engine compartment with removeable hatch and twin 400 c.i. Mercruiser V-8 engines, two stern drives, K-flap trim tabs and plated "chopper" propellers.  Kit includes decorative decals and display stand.  May be painted to match photos on box.  Cement and paint not included". 

This model was purchased in 1986.  I originally had the intention of building it but never got around to it.  Box has been opened and shows slight damage from being stored, but is still closeable.  Model is intact and unharmed and all pieces appear to be there.  At this time, whatever pieces have detached from their "trees" were carefully contained in a plastic ziploc bag and placed inside the box. Note: Additional pieces may fall off their plastic "trees" during shipping and this is beyond my control.

Instructions and decals are also present.

Even though this model has been opened, this is a great price, considering what a rare and highly desireable collector item it is.  Please check my other auctions for more Miami Vice model kits and other great buys!

• I expect payment from the winning bidder within 7 business days of the end of the auction. The item will be relisted if I don't receive any payment from bidder within a week of the date of winning bid confirmation.  I will ship item within 48 hours after your payment has cleared. Note: Do not bid if you cannot pay. Non-paying bidders or scammers will be reported to E-Bay and negative feedback left. They will also be banned from my future auctions.
• I only ship to the United States and if paying by PayPal I only ship to confirmed addresses.  Shipping methods & charges are not negotiable.  Regardless of whether or not a calculator is present in this auction, make sure to review / calculate before bidding!   I can combine shipping on multiple items for winners of my auctions based on weight and destination – but contact me prior to checking out.  Insurance is offered and recommended but optional at your expense. Sorry, but I cannot be personally held responsible for uninsured items damaged in transit or lost in the mail.
