This is a very hard-to-find Relish Rosette design from Russel Wright's American Modern line, manufactured by Steubenville from 1939-1959. We believe this piece is from the first years of production. The design features 2 inset concentric circular surfaces for relish (or whatever you like) and a small dipped circular "bowl" in the center. It is in the chartreuse glaze, with beautiful all-over crazing (see detail photos). It bears the earliest mark on the bottom which reads "Russel Wright MFG BY STEUBENVILLE." Aside from the crazing (which is very typical of this glaze) it is in excellent/near mint condition. There are four or five factory flaws in the glaze that resemble very small pin-pricks (see detail photos). It is guaranteed vintage...purchased from a collector that amassed pieces for 30+ years.  A very RARE excellent addition for a collector of Russel Wright design! It measures approx 10 7/8 in diameter and 1" tall. Please ask all questions before bidding. Refer to shipping tab for shipping method/fees.
