ABOUT THIS ISSUE: Among the leftists RICHARD ARMSTRONG interviewed during five months of research for THE EXPLOSIVE REVIVAL OF THE FAR LEFT, the members of the American Communist Party were the easiest to talk to. Armstrong admits, however, that after every phone call to C.P. headquarters, he had to wait some 15 minutes to get another dial tone, presumably because of a wiretap on the C.P. phone.
