red plastic case IS PERFECT TO THE NAKED EYE.  i have been over this carefully WITH A BRIGHT LIGHT AND STRONG MAGNIFYING GLASS AND FOUND 2 TINY TINY STRESS AREAS (NOT CRACKS BUT STRESSED AREAS)  I HAVE TAKEN PICTURES OF THE AREAS - ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE-YOU BE THE JUDGE
very nice GOLD grill, TRIM RING AND TOP PLATE WITH JUST TINY SCRATCHES
