The top of this wooden, straight razor case has the inlaid metal, PUMA SOLINGEN trademark and is stamped 1938 with a 6(?) after and above the 8. It also has something stamped under this date, but I can't quite make it out.
The bottom part of the case (that slides into the top) is marked with a raised PUMA trademark on one side, and what appears to be the word Durofol (?) inside a four-sided diamond.
This case is in great vintage condition ... has a beautiful grain and polished finish ... is solid & stable with no cracks, chips or hairlines but does have a slight scratch through the top left of the "M" & "A" in the metal PUMA and some splatter-like, pinhead size spots on one side of the bottom.
