Very interesting antique guitar from early 20th century....or late 19th century.
Very high quality guitar with many European features, but headstock design, and a couple of other features suggest this could be American.
Mahogany back and sides, spruce top. Mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard.
Gentle arch to the back, flattened pyramid bridge.
Star inlays in the fingerboard look like they could have been added at a later date.
Plays nicely. Currently fitted with nylon strings, but it'll handle steel.
Some atmospheric splits to the back, but nothing that affects playability and tone.

Please note:- this guitar has been offered here on eBay before. The suggestion that this is the product of Larsen Brothers USA was strongly disputed by a USA based expert, who has experienced Larsen guitars. I am happy to accept his comments, and will forward them to the winning bidder with the guitar, along with the details of the UK based expert who identified it as a Larsen.

Could you give an indication as to the overall playability of this
instrument? Does it have a particularly high action? Also, what
shape would you say the neck is - chunky, v-shaped, rounded,
flat?
