Welcome to my auction.  I am pleased to offer you this vintage 1950's hard plastic Uncle Sam mechanical bank.  I have found just a few for sale and none of them had the original box.  This has no damage to be found.  The mouth opens and closes, his hand reaches down the purse opens and he drops the money in the bag.  From time to time the purse sticks but since he is almost 60 years old I guess that is not too bad.  The box is somewhat beat up.  Scratches and a small rip but the lid and bottom are still perfectly intact.  The bank was made in Hong Kong.  This Uncle Sam bank measures 9" tall.  The original stopper is present.  No chips or nicks paint is still very bright.  Same bank was listed for $150.00  I have set no reserve on the the bank.  Thank you for looking.
