Here is a VERY scarce lot of vintage prints showing paintings from many US Combat artists. the prints date from 1945, and are a folio set of Paintings of Army medicine from the Abbott Collection. Shown are just a few of the 40 prints from the series. Artists featured: Joseph Hirsch, Howard Baer, Robert Benney, Franklin Boggs, Lawrence Beall Smith, Francis Criss, Manuel Tolegian, Marion Greenwood, Ernest Fiene, Fred Shane, John Stuart Curry, and Peter Blume. Large sizes up to 17-1/2" wide for many. Most in excelelnt condition, and few larger ones with edge wrinkles, but all would look spectacular framed. Large envelope hand written from a Major Clarence Worden, Surgeon Generals Office NYC, to a city mayor. Paypal per ebay.
