There is evidence of encrustations and minor surface pitting which attests to the amulet's most ancient and authentic origins. The sides and tips of the wings have deep REDcolor suffusions and a Rustic Brown Patina which is due to being buried in the Earth with exposure to the minerals in the soil. The Jade has retained its wonderful luster.
