The Movt cover's exterior is Finely engraved 'Souvenir, 21 December 1844', presumably by the maker, for the initial owner. Its interior is stamped with a Crown, '18', the Maker's mark, and clover. The Movement's plate is engraved 'Hunter & Edwards, London, No 2069'
