RCA 44-B Ribbon Microphone Mike Manual

The RCA 44-B was introduced in 1936, and was only available in Black/Chrome for radio. This manual contains four photos of the microphone, on a floor stand, on the 91-A desk stand (of which we have beautiful reproductions in both black and umber gray, see our other auctions), and on a suspension hanger for film use. The manual contains application information for using the mike with an orchestra, as well as with soloists, complete frequency and directional curves, a detailed wiring diagram, and a parts list including accessories. The manual contains complete specifications, but not in table form; they are scattered throughout the 8 pages of text in the manual. There are also photos of the various Canon connectors and jacks used with the microphone. This manual is essential to the understanding and use of the 44-B microphone and our restored version of the manual is authentic, very clean, and will give years of service for your microphone.

We also have restoration of the other RCA 44-BX (-B, -D),(-G) and (-H, -J, -K, and -L) ribbon microphone manuals in our auctions or eBay store listings. The dash version is usually found on a sticker inside the microphone as part of the MI (Master Index) number. These versions are the last (post-WWII) versions of the microphone produced.
