Fantastic custom bullet harp mic with booming Hi-Z 99G86 Shure CM Element serviced and tweaked by the legendary Chuck Gurney, Switchcraft 5/8" screw-on connector installed, all new wiring, custom harp mic gasket, and the groovy original RCA paint. Chuck also removed the original cable mount, which would have been a cupping obstacle, and straightened out the grill. I added a custom black silk. This element sounds so big and nasty, it is hard to put it into words. It had me fooled for a minute. I could have sworn it was a black CR when I went to make the video below. This 99G86 with the 3-digit date code lives up to its rep, and then some. I have a LOT invested in this mic. I will not make a profit on this rare gem, but just recover my investment. Consider this one a public service. Can't beat this mic with a stick. Give yourself a nice treat, and snap this baby up. You will happy you did.
