This is a bi-directional ribbon microphone, very similar to 44bx. These microphones were the last to be made by RCA before they left the microphone business. This microphone is cosmetically in very good condition, however the microphone has not be used in over four years. Since it is a ribbon microphone, I suggest that the ribbon be replaced since this is an extremely old microphone. I used the microphone for approximately 30 years.
