The boot part is made of wood or paper mache or I am not sure what it is and the pin cushion is fabric. There are many old, old pins and safety pins stuck in the cushion. There are several chips around the bottom and it needs to be cleaned but I was aftaid to try to clean it. this is pretty old but I can't tell you how old. It has decals of butterflies and roses on it.
