~Some Details~
|
I use various coloring methods and artist pigments to achieve the depth of "real skin" and capture the delicate veins
and capillaries on each of my babies.
A thin layer of color is applied then carefully heated in order to make sure it is fully absorbed into the vinyl
before the next layer goes on.
As each thin layer is applied it builds upon the next while still allowing the coloring beneath it to slightly show through.
I feel it is important that every baby begins with a new color palette making sure their skin tone is unique for them.
As you can see the detail in Lace's coloring is amazing!
Her tiny fingers and toes have been "manicured" to perfection. I used a special mixture of coloring for the blush of the nailbeds
and tipped them with a soft white nail. Lace's nails have been sealed with a matte finish to prevent wear.
Her little nostrils have been carefully shaded and her mouth and lips detailed to perfection.

I have given Lace a beautiful baby soft blonde mohair wig. It has been securely applied for ease of styling by her new mommy.
Lace has GORGEOUS, Brown Masterpiece Eyes. I have given her hand applied infant eye lashes
and barely there eyebrows drawn one hair stroke at a time.

Lace has a soft cloth poseable body. It has been filled with sealed pellets
and hypoallergenic polyfill. Lace has 1/4 limbs weighted to perfection. She is
extremely soft and easy to cuddle.
Lace poses wonderfully and while she can sit alone she has not been overstuffed in any way and can curl right
up into your arms.
