RED APPLE Milk Glass Salt Pepper Shakers Red Rack

Vintage milk glass range style shakers, featuring a single retro red apple with green leaves on the front of each shaker, and red lettering.  Not an expert in this area; I really can't tell (or just don't know the difference!) if these are handpainted or fired on.  They are darling!  There is one salt and one pepper shaker, with worn, red aluminum lids and they sit in a cute little red tray.  These are a bright white milk glass.  They are marked on the bottom, with "Made in the USA".  These would look great in a red & white vintage kitchen, or apple themed kitchen decor.  I think they would look adorable with a collection of the apple canisters or Bromwell apple sifters that can be found, or the Fire King apple mixing bowls!  These measure approximately 2" square and are just a tad over 3" tall.  No chips or cracks located.  Lids show paint wear, but nothing you wouldn't expect for their age (guessing these are from the 1940's or 1950's).
