 Japanese Red Maples are excellent as a focal point for your yard or garden and some grow these in containers for keeping on their patios and decks and they are also a favorite for bonsai. These lightly branched Japanese Red Maples average 2 FEET tall. They have maroon leaves in Spring that become greenish through summer before turning brilliant red in Autumn. We don't recommend these for South Florida.
