Timeless and elegant Pierre Joseph Redoute print for sale. This beautiful piece of art was printed in Europe on classic crème colored heavy rag stock by the owners of the copyright of original plates. Over 20 years old, this print is of exceptional quality and has been kept in mint condition. This botanical was professionally removed from a hand bound out of print book and the paper used is no longer available. I have many other prints from this collection up for auction. They look fabulous in groupings or individually.
P.J. Redoute lived and worked in the 1800’s as a court painter for the empress of France. The original fruit and flower botanicals were colored engravings that have been flawlessly reproduced.

Print size is 10x13. Shipped in a protective plastic sleeve inside a no bend mailer. Shipping and handling is $4.75 for any number of prints mailed together and insurance is an extra $1.75.
