The Cardas Golden Section Stranding pure copper Litz 33 awg inner Tonearm cable, is offered as a continuous 72 inches / 5 feet length. When all 5 wires are cut evenly, measuring 14.4 inches each, they have an overall bundled diameter of approximately 0.017 in / .45 mm. Overall diameter is 0.014 in / 0.35 mm for each inner wire.

4 Cardas brass/gold cartridge clips overall length of 0.527 in  / 13.40 mm (adjust to fit all cartridges)

4 colored heat shrinks (Red, Green, Blue & White)

1 Cardas 5 pin, male din phono plug

1 Black Delrin Rega adapter sleeve

1 set screw

5 colored heat shrinks (Red, Green, Blue, White & Black)

I am a true believer of Rega tonearms and own two myself. I understand the disadvantage of fixed cables, but there are ways to get around that.

For all Rega RB series owners, who are looking to modify their tonearm, this is the perfect choice. This mod will enable you to use any standard 5 pin female tonearm cable on the market.

You can now use your Rega on all phono stages, even balanced XLR. Obtain better performance by actually using a separate ground wire to your main preamp. In some cases it will also eliminate that interfering background noise.

I have rewired my Rega RB 300 with a perfect fit. Big improvement, faster response, focused center image, excellent bass, smooth top extension & more harmonics.
