I truly believe in Renaissance and tradition, but I also believe in the woman of the 21st century, renaissance is not just about what once was, but who we are and who we want to be, it is a chance for us to transform, into a different time, and take our present time with us, we have the choice to be traditional or be what makes us feel good, sometimes I will offer in my design and style that choice, you can be queen Elisabeth, a peasant or just you. I like to fool with color and color was a limited option then. It is your choice as always. I do not want you to think that I always produce and design clothing that is a reproduction even though sometimes I do, I want the people that bid on my auctions to feel that the item they have purchased will make them fit in and feel pretty, and believe me they do.

We were asked to do a costume for a pirate themed event we had locally they wanted a camera friendly costume, this is what we came up with. This auction is for one FUN Renaissance Pirate Costume , with triple laced bodice, please notice the design and detail in the bodice. This is one of our happy customers.

This auction is for:

Triple laced bodice Tattered over skirt Tattered under skirt 100% bell sleeved Cotton chemise Arm bands Leather sword or gun waist belt Cape

The Bodiceis done in a Medium weight Black Cotton Fabric, It extends deeper in the front and lower to allow for more cleavage, Triple tied, with detachable straps, Boned heavily in the front, along sides, and back to allow for maximum support. Interfaced and lined with duckcloth it is a very supportive bodice. The bodice will be made to your measurements

The skirts are 100% cotton with a circumference of 140" , tattered hem, made with non roll elastic at the waistband. The skirt will be made to your measurements

The chemise is 100% Cotton. Elastic at shoulders and elbows with long flowing bell sleeves, The arm bands are made of the same fabric the bodice is. Each arm band is made with 4 attached ribbons which have beads and ornamentation attached, these arm bands were cut on a bias so there is flexibility in them, a small gun or knife can be placed comfortably in one or both. This chemise will be made to your measurements.

The waist belt The waist belt attaches under your bodice like a traditional belt, but at two points of the belt in the front and the back two leather straps are connected to form a V at the center of the V we place a 1" o-ring this o-ring is what holds your sword or gun in place.

The cape Is done in a medium rayon blend, it is not a cloak, cloaks are fitted at the arms, capes are not, every move you make with this cape causes a very airy and flowing movement

Our costumes are made to order they are not on the shelf ready to ship. 3 weeks to completion. We ship on Fridays only 21 days from the date of payment or measurements which ever comes last.
