This is a 1982 Route Map for Republic Airlines (RC) that was published in the Winter 1982 OAG Guide.  It measures approx. 22"x19" and is in very good to excellent condition.  It was originally folded in the OAG guide but has been stored flat since 1982.  The fold marks are minor so this map would look very nice in a frame.  The map shows Republic's routes in red and it also shows other airlines routes in blue, so you can see what the airline system traffic looked like in 1982!    It will be shipped in a poster tube.
Republic Airlines was formed in 1979 with the merger of North Central Airlines and Southern Airways. It purchased Hughes Air West in 1980.  Republic Airlines was purchased by Northwest Orient Airlines in 1986, at which time NW dropped the 'Orient' in it's name and was re-branded as Northwest Airlines....which was recently merged into Delta Airlines.
