THIS AUCTION IS FOR : An UNFINISHED/UNPAINTED/BARE resin HO slot car body only as shown in the 2nd/last picture.

ONCE AGAIN, THIS AUCTION IS FOR : A Custom FX 1/64 HO scale slot car resin UNFINISHED replica body ONLY of the very rare Tyrrell P34 "No Scoop" or engine bulge version (i.e had the engine cover moulded in as opposed to the glued in airbox version) you can build the "first national city" car, or by removing the front axle holders, build any of the F5000 cars.

SPECIFIC TO THIS LISTING : This kit includes cast resin body correct enclosed cowling, front wheels, rear wing and upper rear wing, i can supply, at EXTRA cost decals, aluminium or resin wheels. (front tyres for this can be found in several slot car ebay stores).

GENERAL INFO : Due to time restrictions the worldwide credit crunch and requests, i am now offering the built cars i have been listing recently in kit form, i would say an average enthusiast can achieve a good standard of finish, bodies and parts are fresh out of the mould and will require flashing removing before painting and assembly, a hobby knife/small drill or dremel type hobby tool should be all you need to complete the work. I am no expert myself and you could probably do a better job yourself!!! Most cars i use a body post design to mount to the chassis, i try and get the stance as correct as possible, prototypes are made and checked so the wheels will not foul in the arches. I always try and use clear resin or clear vac formed windows, i am not ashamed to let people know there is a slot car under there!! plus i think they look far more realistic then blacked out or painted windows. 

ABOUT CUSTOM FX : This a small hobby buisness, mainly for HO 1/64 slot cars but will be looking towards 1/32 and maybe 1/24 and static 1/43 cars. Probably like many others i have been disapointed with many of the newer HO releases with some really poor appearing cars, particuarly ride heights and sticking out wheels and my personal pet hate, blacked out windows!! I have a small range of bespoke hand cast resin body kits available (nearly all modified to give a correct low racing stance) as well as parts including vacuum formed windows, photo etched wheel inserts, resin detail parts (including parts that are easily broken off from the Aurora and Tomy AFX range of cars) decals and aluminium wheels. Please feel free to check my website at worldwideweb.custom-fx.info  please bear in mind this is a work in progress but will give you an idea of the cars i do.

FINISHED CARS : Any cars shown in pictures are for reference only, and NOT included in aucion, they show what can be acheived. PLEAE NOTE: this is a one man deal here!! i do nearly everything, i cast 1 or 2 of each body each week and normally acheive very good results, but sometimes i do get a couple of minor flaws or air bubbles, these can be easily filled with any model filler or model putty. I would not release anything with any major problems. Please remember, these are custom bespoke hand cast replicas, not massed producced injection moulded cars!!!!!
