You are the proud owner of a Phase Linear 400... series I, series II... whatever. It almost works, or at least it doesn't smoke or erupt in flame, and that is a start. You know that it is a cool thing, and if it only worked well, you'd love it. Correct! So you ask around, surely somebody knows about these. Wrong! Nobody in your area seems to know. The highly recommended repairman you know says that it is too old and funky and you should instead buy a Delta Wing X-2500 at only $1,495.00, because it has a third channel. Cool... that will work for your third ear. To some folks, if it ain't home theater, it ain't *&%$). Sigh.

You may now cheer up. Not only is it possible to make your Phase work, it is possible to return it to damn near new condition. What's more, with limited exceptions, you know the price and what to expect before you even start. The Phase Linear 400 Total Overhaul is meant to take your marginal machine, and to make it what God intended, and it is less than $1495.00, by a fair margin. You will be the envy or your neighbors... you can go back and tell the home theater guy that he might be smart, but he doesn't know EVERYTHNG.

The first thing I will do is to evaluate the machine to make sure that we have no complications. After that I will proceed to work the magic, and send it back to you, and you will be amazed at just how good these guys sound. No foolin' folks, they are famous for a reason.

Ever cautious, you say, "what if mine doesn't fly and it is so bad off that it costs waaaaaaaay too much to fix it?" A reasonable question that.
