Here for your bid we have three solid lead musket balls from the Rev War Battle for Stono Ferry,South Carolina,June 20th,1779.
One of the musket balls is mushroomed from a direct hit on something or someone.The others have mold markings and ramrod marks.
The British forces for this battle included the 60th Regiment of Foot, 71st.Highlanders,Hessians and Provincials.
The American forces included the Virginia Militia,Continental Army,Continental Cavalry,and Continental Reserve.
The Battle was declared a British Victory.These musket balls could have belonged to any of the forces present.
