Our clear refillable filter housings can be used for DI media GAC carbon or any other filtration media. We do not suggest using these cartridges for more than 25 refills without replacing the expansion sponge. As with any other clear housing avoid exposure to direct sunlight for long periods of time. Not for use in high heat applications. This filter is designed for upflow applications to ensure the longest possible exposure time.
