WE SHIP WORLDWIDE - THIS IS A GREAT STUDENT HORN WITH GREAT SOUND - IT IS A REAL BARGAIN AT $199.99 - IT WILL COME IN A CASE AND WITH A NICE MOUTHPIECE -This listing is for a BEAUTIFUL SOUNDING REYNOLDS student level Series SILVER MEDALIST. This horn was made between 1972-1977 at Fullerton, California. I am not kidding, when i say that it has great sound. I have many horns in the $1000 range or higher, and this cornet holds its own. Most Medalist cornets are lacquered brass. A silver Medalist is indeed not commonly found. This silver Medalist plays great and will work very well for a beginning student, or an adult not wanting to spend much money but wanting a REYNOLDS cornet, as I am selling the horn with a nice mouthpiece, and a nice case, for the price equal to what it would cost you for only a couple of months of horn rental. it will make an excellent horn for the beginner as the cornet, while still looking sharp overall, shows some signs of use, so it can be handled without fear by a beginner. You do not have to worry about buying a new horn and then marking it up. as a beginner will most certainly do. The Reynolds Medalist is a durable instrument that was designed as an entry level horn for beginning students and should serve you very well. The important thing is that it plays very well and has a great sound and will be easy for a beginning student to handle and use. It is certainly a bargain for the buy-it-now price that I am asking. The serial number is 279XXX. This instrument was made in the United States. It is a key of Bb Cornet made of brass and silver plated. It has a forward facing bell with 3 upright valve pistons. It functions well and will serve the beginner well. It will make an excellent cornet for the beginning student or the adult that does not want to spend much money, but wants a quality cornet that is ready to play when it arrives.I have decided to sell my cornet and trumpet collection. There are 100+ Cornets and Trumpets in this collection. some of them are extraordinary and most of them are very collectible instruments. There are H.N. White King Instruments in this collection, including two Presentation level gold plated instruments with Artist level engraving. There are Olds instruments, including a Charlie Melk restored Olds Super. There are Rudy Muck horns and Bach horns and Reynolds horns and much more. It will take me a time to get them all listed, so I suggest that you bookmark my Zebratown Store, so that you can be among the first to see a new listing as I get them done. If you study the pictures you will see that it still is a very attractive silver cornet. My collection is small by some standards, and large by other standards. It includes student level horns, professional horns, and even presentation quality horns. You will not be disappointed that you bookmarked my store! |
